| Description |
When Time Out reviewed the London Review Bookshop they hit on some of our favourite things when it comes to bookshops... "this fresh, well-laid-out shop is all polished wood, quiet conversations, passionate staff and a seriously informed selection of books". The London Review Bookshop opened in Bloomsbury in May 2003. It is now, in their words, "the most distinctive independent bookshop in London: an attractive space where an eclectic and well chosen selection of books and DVDs can be browsed in peace and quiet, and where the best author events in the city take place". We certainly agree. The staff are very well informed, have a strong sense of their readers’ needs, and offer a fast and efficient mail order delivery service wherever you are in the world.
And they also have a cake shop in store. Brilliant. |

| What We Like |
What really sets the London Review Bookshop apart from its competitors is the amazing events they put on. From a quick glance of the previous speakers: Vaclav Havel, Germaine Greer, Harold Pinter, Doris Lessing, Hanif Kureishi, Terry Jones, Alan Bennett... |
